I provide bespoke pet portraits in a very pet friendly relaxed atmosphere either at your own home, our small studio or at an outside location. For those with dogs liking an outside location I live near the edge of Long Eaton Park and very near Elvaston castle giving your dogs the perfect opportunity of both an indoor and outdoor shoot whilst having fun and exercising.

Over the last three years I have photographed birds, dogs, cats, even the odd snake has shown their face, and one thing I have found is that every pet regardless of their species or size has their own unique character. I pride myself in bringing those characters out and providing happy clients with a photographic portrait full of memories of their much loved pets that they will treasure and show off forever.
A Photography Experience Your Pet Will Love
I realise some pets are excitable, some are noisey, others won’t sit still – I know they have a mind of their own and my aim is to ensure the shoot is all about them. I achieve this by making the studio or area I’m working in to be as relaxed and stress free for your pets as I can. I want your pet to enjoy their experience with me and so invite you to bring with them their favourite blanket or toy. I even keep my own pet treats and toys but I know know from experience, for some pets only their own toys and treats will do and so please feel free to bring them.
What to Expect on the Day
I know that every pet shoot is different and I don’t expect your pets to perform or sit still as soon as they come through the door as this takes time and I am quite happy to sit, play and wait for those special moments as they settle in and become comfortable. You can bring them before so they get used to the studio and even if on the day, it just doesn’t work for them, don’t worry I can look at redoing your photographs another day.
